Originally from Portugal, Susana Pessoa came to the United States in 2006 and opened her “happy place” in 2017. Daughter and granddaughter of seamstresses, Susana has always known her love for fabrics and textiles was in her blood. While her passion for fashion has always been present, her love for bridal was a happy accident!

Since her discovery, bridal fashion has been one of the biggest loves of Susana’s life. Her mission became to empower all women… with no exception. Susana wanted to ensure all Vivid Brides feel confident, beautiful, and genuinely happy on their special day. It is because of Susana’s passion and drive that Vivid Bridal is one of Washington D.C.’s most friendly, inclusive and helpful bridal boutiques!

Our team members are masters of their craft, and we are all excited to join you on this incredible journey. Diversity and inclusion are paramount to us; we have a selection of gorgeous gowns for each and every bride, no matter who you are or who you love.

DURING 2020, ONE THING REMAINED CONSTANT:
love was absolutely essential.

We knew there were couples out there who were no longer able to have their dream wedding because of Covid-19. As memory makers and love enthusiasts, we could not sit idly by and let that happen. 

We teamed up with wedding professionals from all around the DMV to host a “Love Gone Viral” wedding and make a difference in one couple’s lives. We curated an exclusive wedding on March 11, 2021 and gifted it to a deserving couple in need. Yes, you read that right, businesses from all over NOVA came together to give away an ENTIRE wedding.

We want to bring love, hope and encouragement to the DMV wedding industry and our wonderful community of couples. We believe in the power of love, and that love always finds a way…

Love Gone Viral

To preface I am a very anxious and self conscious person. That being said Vivid Bridal boutique was a dream come true for me.
Simone helped me look through my wedding inspiration photos and hand picked amazing dresses that fit the theme to a T. The whole appointment I felt comfortable and I was excited to try on every dress we picked out.
